Our mission: provide the best UI assets (icons, illustrations...) to creators, startups and corporate teams.
🎁 The Netflix of UI assets
- We surprise our users and create a continuous flow of new assets and trendy styles.
- Like 'Netflix' we need to 'earn' the subscription each month or year. Proving to users that the price they pay is justified. Each time they connect (probably a few times/month) they should be amazed by the new styles, icons, illustrations or new features that will save them time.
- We must advertise these new addition to our users and make it visible:
- Messages when they connect to the app (using Olvy), promoting the last sets and features.
- Regular newsletters summing up all last additions.
- Using more the @streamlinehq Twitter account to promote new releases
- Other channels:
- Behance
- Dribbble
- Product Hunt
⚡️ Fast Design
Inspired by the 'fast fashion', that made the 'Zara' brand successful.
Deliver as fast as possible new trends to our users.
Step 1 - Spot a new style trend with a 'trend hunter' employee/contractor.
Step 2 - Produce quickly a new set, in just a few days.
Step 3 - Release the first prototype – for free as SVG – in the Streamline app, with 10 to 20 assets available.
Step 4 - Feedback loop and metrics decide the fate of the new style:
- Listen to user feedback > improve the new style.
- Review the metrics, how many people download it?
→ Stop the project if the download rate is low (then, keep assets created free)
→ Accelerate the project if the download rate is high (then, it become a premium product)
Create our own unique styles.
- Use our designers/illustrators creativity: propose them to experiment freely with new styles.
- Study old vintage styles that could be revived with a new modern touch.
For example some style like 'Neo 80's', 'Art Deco' are not yet produced by any competitor but could be very fresh and unique. They would surprise our users, also spark interest in the designer community.
- Get inspired by new fashion, architecture, design trends. Our 'trend hunter' can spot new trends that could be translated in icons or illustrations. He brief icons designers and illustrators about it.
