Proposition of new strategy for the next 6 months. We will discuss it during our next strategic meeting with the whole teamyt and edit this doc. At the end of the meeting, the strategy will be validated.

🔥 Focus on two main goals

Prioritizing these goals means that we postpone or cancel some projects that are really exciting, because we focus on income. That means we cannot work now on project like the NFT, illustrations scene builder, API, etc.

1- Marketing and traffic/conversion 🤑

• Our product is now good enough: we have a reliable, fast app + great assets (icons, illustrations)
• Yes, we will still continue to improve the app and assets, but not as priority.
• We don’t promote enough the product. That will change. We’ll spend less efforts on the product itself, more efforts on getting visibility, traffic, and conversions.
• Isn’t crazy that on 15 team mates, we have only 1 marketer? It is a bad ratio. We need to put more resources for marketing.
• After these 6 months focused on marketing/traffic/sales (spring, summer 2022) we will then focus more on the new cool features for fall/winter 2022.

Actions to improve traffic/retention/conversions:

• We will probably hire a junior full time marketer soon, to help Khushi.
• We are currently looking for a full time virtual assistant (or maybe we will work with an VA agency), to submit our free resources to all websites, resources directory we can find.
• Khushi will also get budget to hire experts, starting with a branding expert, email marketing expert, ads expert, etc.
• Dev team will continue to give priority helping Khushi on SEO, Analytics, conversions, retention. It is not as excited as building new features, but it will increase sales, then fuel our long term growth. Fortunately, we can resume focus on features this fall

2- Desktop app / Universal icon manager

That’s the exciting part. 😃

Even if we’ll spend less time developing features, we have this amazing long term project with three main steps. This will take months, it can keep us busy until the end of summer. Or maybe it will take less than I think? 😎
